Oleg Shuplyak is a famous Ukrainian Artists. He is also very popular in the rest of the world. He introduced a series of unique and unusual illusions with double meaning , where he skillfully and masterly combines two genres: portraiture and landscape .
These two story lines are always logically linked. This peculiar and distinctive style of Oleg Shuplyak, has given him a popular title as the "Ukrainian Salvador Dali."
Oleg Shuplyak lives and works in a small historic town in Western Ukraine called Berezhany. His work is seen and appreciated at different levels. In 2013, he won the International Foundation "Cultural Heritage" (St. Petersburg) award and a gold medal "For the creation of skills and unique style in Art." In the same year he was also a winner in the national contest for the best logo for the 200th anniversary of Taras, Shevchenko.
Since 1991, Oleg has taken part in many exhibitions. His personal exhibitions were held in Kiev, Chernigov, St. Petersburg as well as in other countries such as: Britain, Denmark, etc. There are many publications about the Artists work in both national and international journals, magazines and textbooks. Since 2000, Oleg Shuplyak has been a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.
