Xue, born in Dalian, China. He graduated from Lu Xun Academy of Fine Art, China. Later he received a Master degree and remained to teach there as a professor. He has exhibited extensively and participated in art events throughout Asia and North America.

He won gold, silver and bronze medals and some honorary rewards in these exhibitions. More than 300 pieces of his oil paintings have been collected by Chinese National Art Gallery, art galleries and private collectors in the world. He has been represented in many commemorative exhibitions as well as being featured in prestigious art auctions. Six pieces of his works were sold in the auctions of Christie's Swire.

His artworks have also appeared in publications throughout Asia, Australia, North America and the Middle East. He has been represented in many commemorative exhibitions. He was recognized as an artist of considerable merit early in his career, as demonstrated by his collection of awards.
