As a modern blacksmith Joshua Pennings makes powerful sculptures of animals and fantasy figures. Movement like flying and traveling is also found a lot in his sculptures. In his forge he shapes the cold metal into warm sculptures.

His works is described as biomechanical and imaginary realism. Each sculpture is unique and handmade of CorTen steel. The statues are suited for indoor and outdoor placement. Joshua Pennings works and lives in the Netherlands. His work is exhibited through most of Europe, the far east of Russia and is in private and public collections all over the world.
