Salman Al-Malik - Video

Salman Al Malik is an artist who is driven to achieve originality. Tired of the same old techniques and styles, he has devoted his life to creating paintings that are undeniably his own. He draws influence from the world around him, observing closely politicians, leaders, artists, and regular people in order to illustrate their personalities and their roles in the world as accurately as he can.

Although his work could be called abstract, it is also not without its firm messages. In addition to painting, he also works as a photographer, caricaturist, printing director, designer, and inventor. He thinks of himself as a dreamer before all else, someone who sees images in his mind and then tries to share those images with others. Fiercely opposed to what he considers the “plastic arts,” he wants his art to ooze spirit, experience, and discovery.

Salman is dedicated immensely to his work, spending long hours on getting a single piece just right. He is always willing to ght on behalf of truth and on behalf of his right to express truth as he perceives it.

His work is at times solitary, his mission at times lonely, but he is not someone who is easily discouraged. Rather, he is an artist who is invigorated by hardship and goaded on by dif culty. He is an artist who nds in failure new ways to succeed, and that is why he is such an exciting gure to behold,
